TASTING NOTES

Sight: A clean, clear, full-bodied wine. Dark cherry red in colour with hints of purple, the wine does not show signs of age and still reveals its youth.

Smell: Clean and intense on the nose with strong mineral tones (graphite) and ripe fruit with balsamic base notes before agitation. These same aromas together with notes of fruit liqueur, the smoked aroma of cigars, roasted coffee, and bitter chocolate come to the fore with agitation. A very complex wine with a perfectly blended range of aromas.

Taste: Highly potent, energetic and long-lasting on the palate with the marked presence of mature, well-blended tannins. Well-balanced acidity offers freshness and highlights the notes of ripe fruit with a characteristic mineral background. Complex, intense finish. Very pleasant long-lasting and persistent aftertaste.

Ideal as an accompaniment to rich dishes, this wine can be enjoyed now or in the coming months if stored in suitable conditions.

Serving Suggestions: Specially recommended as an accompaniment to red meat, cured cheeses, and casseroles.

Serves between 16 °C and 18 °C. Serve in a decanter. Open thirty minutes before serving.
